- 9/15: Hispanic Heritage Attire - say hello in another language
- 9/16: Resiliency Day - K-2 wear blue; 3rd -5th wear orange
- 9/17: Words of Encouragement Wednesday - wear your wildcat gear and give words of encouragement to someone today
- 9/18: Wear green - national color for campaign
- 9/19: Kindness Day - wear clothing with kind words
 

Reminders

  • Wednesday is House day! Remember to wear your house colors to earn points towards your house. 
  • Instruction begins at 8:15am, so it is important that students are on time. Hot breakfast will end at 8:10am sharp.

Important Announcements

  • Picture day is Friday September 26, 2025. Order forms were sent home last week. Orders can be placed online at my.lifetouch.com or by sending in the order form with payment on picture day. 

  • Trunk or Treat will take place on Friday, October 24, 2025! We are looking for families and community members who would like to host a trunk at the event. If you’re interested in having a decorated trunk, please reach out to Ms. Mendez.

This Week’s Tip: Surround Them with Books

Literacy starts with access! Keep books in your child’s world—whether in the car, in a backpack, or by the bed. Having stories close at hand in English or Spanish encourages curiosity and makes reading a natural part of everyday life.
