Principal’s Message

Christina Howell Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year and all the excitement it brings! It is an   honor to serve as your principal and instructional leader at Lovell Elementary. I   hope you and your family enjoyed a fun and restful summer.

 This year, we are Wild About Learning! We are transforming education into an   exciting adventure where classrooms become vibrant places for exploration,   discovery, and growth. We encourage our students to ask big, bold questions as   they "hunt" for new ideas and explore the world around them. Just as every   ecosystem depends on the unique strengths of its creatures, we celebrate each   student's individual talents and learning style while fostering collaboration,   teamwork, and mutual respect. We also remind our young adventurers that   growth takes time and that mistakes are valuable stepping stones on the path to   resilience and success.

 Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education. We are honored to   partner with your family and are committed to building strong, meaningful   relationships that support every student's success. We believe that when schools   and families work together, students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

 As we begin this exciting journey together, we look forward to a year filled with   learning, growth, and achievement. With optimism, determination, and a shared   commitment to excellence, we will create opportunities for every child to reach   their full potential. The future is bright, and together we will accomplish great   things.

  For the 2026-2027 school year, students may arrive on campus beginning at 8:15 a.m. and should be in class and ready to learn by 8:40 a.m. Dismissal is at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
