Academic Goals
Pre K:
• Students will recognize all letters and sounds.
• Students will recognize numbers 1-10 and count up to 31.
• Students will recognize shapes and primary colors.
• Students will write their first name.
Kindergarten:
• Students will recognize all letters and sounds
• Students will blend sounds to make words
• Students will read high frequency words
• Students will recognize numbers 1-20 and count up to 100.
First Grade:
• Students will read and spell high frequency words
• Students will read first grade text with at least 69 words correct per minute and answer comprehension questions
• Students will know addition and subtraction facts
Second Grade:
• Students will read and spell high frequency words
• Students will read second grade text with at least 99 words correct per minute and answer comprehension questions
• Students will know addition and subtraction facts
• Students will tell time and count money
Third Grade:
• Students will read and spell high frequency words
• Students will read third grade text with at least 123 words correct per minute and answer comprehension questions
• Students will know multiplication facts
Fourth Grade:
• Students will read fourth grade text with at least 144 words correct per minute and answer comprehension questions
• Students will know multiplication and division facts
Fifth Grade:
• Students will read fifth grade text with at least 155 words correct per minute and answer comprehension questions
• Students will know division facts

• Work to ensure that our students get an excellent education by providing a high quality curriculum that will enable our students to meet the states academic achievements
• Provide ongoing two-way communication between us and parents to support students’ learning
